We’re looking for a Senior Salon Assistant to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional client experiences. In this role, you’ll work closely with a top-performing Colorist or Stylist, supporting their services while building your technical skills in a fast-paced, luxury environment. What You’ll Do

• Provide shampoo, conditioning, and treatment services while ensuring a comfortable, high-end client experience

• Support your designated Colorist or Stylist with color mixing, treatment applications, and service setup

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked backbar and dispensary

• Prepare stations and assist with smooth client transitions throughout the salon

• Uphold salon cleanliness by sweeping, sanitizing, and restocking throughout the day

• Follow all safety, sanitation, and state board regulations

• Deliver exceptional customer service—friendly, attentive, and responsive to client needs

• Communicate effectively with your team to ensure seamless service flow

• Support the broader assistant team when your Stylist or Colorist is not on the floor

• Participate in ongoing training to build technical skills and service knowledge

• Maintain a polished, professional appearance aligned with Tricoci brand standards

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in retail, hospitality, or a fast-paced customer service environment

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and stay proactive in a busy setting

• A team player who can also work independently

• Passion for the beauty industry and delivering exceptional service

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays

• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Cosmetology program required

• Cosmetology license preferred

• 1+ year of client-facing experience required

• Previous salon experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Frequent use of hands and arms for service support tasks

• Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the salon

• Comfortable working in an environment with hair products, fumes, and odors
